Updates - August 13th

The game has been updated today. Changes:

-Maximum monsters per map increased to 10
-Maximum players per guild increased to 20
-Maximum items per map increased from 50 to 80 (more vault space!)
-Guild sprite cost lowered to 10,000 per day
-Added a clear sprite button to remove guild sprites
-Guild pay now shows who made the deposit
-Added a member count display to the guild list
-Added an option to reset your guild's stats

-Fixed some minor bugs with directional walls
-Fixed a bug where depositing into a temporary guild would crash the server
-Fixed /guild edit command
-Fixed some guild list column width problems on Windows Vista

Today the game received a minor update.

Changes:

-Guild stats are no longer affected on arena and carnage maps
-Added about 10 new scripting functions to help Fankadore continue to enhance the server
-Further reduced server lag
-Fixed a bug where equipped items would never drop if a monster killed you
-Fixed a bug that could occasionally crash the server

The game was updated again today!

Latest changes:

-Guilded players may now walk over unguilded players on white (Guild PK) maps
-Guilded players may now easily attacked guilded players on top (stacked) with unguilded players
-When you PK a player, the item drops now go directly into your inventory (to prevent them being looted).  If your inventory is full, they will drop on the ground as normal.
-Attack, Defense, and Magic Defense are now viewable in the stats window
-Your guild's total daily upkeep cost is now shown in /guild balance
-HP, Mana, and Energy will now show as empty instead of full when dead
-Fixed a bug where guilded players would always see their name color as cyan even with a custom status
-Fixed a bug where the guild list was not showing the guild a person was in (if they were in a guild) when the list was loaded
-Fixed a bug where the guild list background would turn a hideous grey color when it was disabled (while refreshing)

The game was updated today to improve guilds and guild PK.

Here's a list of the changes:
-The game's forums have returned by popular demand.
-Maximum allowed guild members raised to 15
-Players who have not signed on for 60 days will be kicked out of their guild.  This is to avoid bank guilds and inactive players wasting guild slots.
-The guild list is now sorted by the guild sizes
-Added upkeep for having a guild sprite
-Raised stock guild upkeep
-Raised upkeep charged per guild member
-Fixed a bug where unguilded players could see guilded player's HP

The game was updated today to fix a moderately serious issue (Subscript Error 9).  Since I've been working on the next update already, it has a few new features in it as well that are a part of a much bigger update that is currently in the works.  Here are the full changes:

-Fixed Subscript Error 9, caused when certain players left the map
-Added HP bars for guild members and allies.  You can see your guild members HP, and also the HP of any guilds that have an alliance declared with your guild.  The HP bar will not show up if the person at 100% HP, to prevent unnecessary cluttering.
-You may now use projectiles such as Rocktossers again.
-Moved Macros to the options menu and re-added a "Players" button (/who)
-Aded a yellow box under Ammo objects to eliminate confusion about whether the ammo was equipped or not.
-Fixed several minor but annoying in-game map editor glitches
-Fixed a very minor repair display issue where unrepairable items would show as 100% in the repair menu (can't repair it anyways, but it was a bit misleading to have it show in perfect condition)
-Fixed a bug where if you switched maps when having the NPC store menu open and then clicked "Buy" the game would crash

The game has been updated.  This update focused largely on fixing bugs and also improving the experience for new players, but there's pretty much something in it for everyone!

-Changed maximum level to 80, player stats have not changed, leveling is just easier now
-Added a new selling system.  Prices are now assigned to items that you can sell uniformly at NPCs throughout the land.  It also provides "Sell All" for selling large amounts of stackables instantly.
-Improved the usability of the repair window
-Broadcast and tell no longer require mana
-Added additional security for hp, mana, and energy
-Increased maximum allowed script name length
-Maximum energy is now enforced on the server side to log out
-Push can no longer be used without full hp
-Odyssey will now run on depths other than 16 and 32 bit, with the lighting disabled
-Added several necessary scripting events for monster boss battles
-Lowered screen timer to 1 second (was 3 before)
-Added light functionality to the interface.  If bank, repair, trade, or sell are available the corresponding lights light up on the interface
-Change the Cleric's male sprite to what was formerly the Paladin one
-Slightly increased the size of stat bars and increased their font readability
-Improved the Guild menu's readability
-Updated credits to include Fankadore's role and also Velius' role with the Hero's Quest
-Fixed /guild sprite command
-Fixed a bug where Odyssey was receiving keystrokes when it wasn't in focus
-Fixed AttackMonster script not taking monster defense into account
-Fixed bugs with item suffixes (sometimes the name would be different than what it was on the server)
-Fixed bug where sometimes only the item's name (such as with hammer) would show up but not the requirements
-Fixed an exploit where people could pick up items when dead via cheating
